Four musicians meet each other in March of 2011 and form the music group dorόs. They introduce their own original musical compositions, with improvisation being the core feature, and emphasize on communication through self-expression and vice versa. Contact and interaction with musical traditions from different parts of the world – inside and outside the borders of Greece – gives rise to a new and distinct sound.

Stamna, darambuka, bedir, cajon, lute, lavta, oud, ney, kaval, clarinet, guitar, pianika, caliba, weave their unique soundscape.

To this day, they have performed in musical stages in Athens, participated in many festivals such as Choudetsi festival, Street Theatre Festival and in various events for the European Day of Music. Recently they cooperated with the famous Greek composer, Nikos Xydakis for the music play “Rue Lepsius – musical portrait of Kavafis”.

Their first album was released in September 2014 and after all copies had been sold out, it was re-issued a few months later.
